About Us
Active Life Services is an adult day center in Northeast Philadelphia, at 260-262 Geiger Road, and also provides in-home care and IDD adult services. Participants spend the program day in a supervised setting with activities, meals, and staff support, or receive care at home. Each care plan starts with an assessment and is reviewed with the family.

Our Mission
Our mission is to help seniors and adults with disabilities keep living at home by covering the daytime hours: supervision, activities, meals, and health support at the center, or a personal care aide in the home.
Families choose the number of days and the level of support during the assessment, and can change both as needs change.
Active Life Services is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging as an Older Adult Daily Living Center.
Our Values
Staff ask before assisting with personal care and explain each step.
Participants spend the day in a group, with activities at several ability levels.
Staff supervise arrival through departure, and the center is wheelchair and walker accessible.
The care plan records what a participant does independently, and staff help only with the rest.
Why Families Choose Us
The center is set up for wheelchairs and walkers, and staff supervise from arrival through the ride home, including toileting and transfers.

The care plan lists medications, dietary needs, mobility support, and preferred activities, and it is rewritten when needs change.
This site reads in English, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Russian, and staff speak several languages. Call to ask about a specific one.
Nursing staff track health changes and handle medication support during the program day.
Staff pass on how the day went, flag health or appetite changes, and answer calls during program hours.
Days of attendance are set at the assessment and can change with a phone call.

Our Approach
The assessment covers health conditions, medications, mobility, dietary needs, and what the participant likes to do. Families take part in it.
That information becomes the care plan, which sets the days of attendance, the personal care support needed, and the activities to offer first.
Staff record how each day went so care stays consistent, and families can call us during program hours with questions.
Call to ask questions or schedule a tour — no cost, no obligation. Tours run during program hours so you see the center in use, meet the staff, and watch an activity.
